Compensation

More than a salary—total compensation for the best and brightest.

As one of the world’s most dynamic educators of health- and life-science professionals, MCPHS must attract and retain a highly motivated, mission-driven workforce. To ensure that our employees are among the best and brightest in the marketplace, our total compensation package is competitive with the market and other local universities. And our 200-year legacy demonstrates our stability and growth in the higher education realm.

In addition to your annual base salary, MCPHS makes a substantial contribution toward the cost of your medical and dental insurance as well as to retirement plans for eligible employees. We offer learning and development opportunities and provide generous time off and flexible work arrangements that help you achieve a healthy balance between work and life.

Through the interview and hiring process, we discuss individual compensation and provide you with a Benefits Summary and Total Compensation Worksheet so you can fully understand and calculate the value of your total compensation before accepting a position. We compensate our employees based on the specific job requirements, experience, and the market for the position. We also conduct annual performance reviews to identify and celebrate accomplishments, provide constructive feedback regarding job performance, and set performance goals for the coming year. We recognize our employees at the time of their annual reviews with performance-based salary increases (as applicable).
