University Veteran Education Team

The University Veterans Education Team (UVET) team consists of faculty and staff dedicated to connecting with and supporting our veteran and military-associated students. Team members represent various academic programs and departments across all campuses and serve as either UVET Mentors, UVET Support staff, or both.

All members work together to fulfill our mission of support and advocacy for student veterans and military-associated students.

  • UVET Mentors act as the primary point of contact for student veterans, engaging with them primarily through email throughout the semester. If a student has questions or concerns, the UVET Mentors will refer them to the appropriate UVET Support staff member or University department.
  • UVET Support staff members either represent their respective departments (such as CASE, Student Affairs, Counseling Services, Career Services, the Registrar’s Office, and Student Financial Services) or are part of the UVET team, providing assistance to students as needed.
