About
Winnie Chow, DAOM, LAc., Dipl. OM, is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in New Hampshire. At MCPHS, she teaches herbal medicine, drawing on decades of clinical and academic experience in traditional Chinese medicine.
She earned her degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology and completed her doctorate in acupuncture and Oriental medicine at Five Branches University in San Jose, California. Before relocating to New Hampshire in 2010, she practiced in Los Altos, California, and taught at the University of East-West Medicine in Sunnyvale.
Chow specializes in internal herbal medicine, focusing on identifying and treating the root causes of illness. Her clinical experience includes managing conditions such as skin disorders, sinus allergies, asthma, chronic pain, migraines, arthritis, digestive issues, insomnia, mood disorders, menstrual and menopausal symptoms, Parkinson’s disease, hypertension, and diabetes-related complications.
