Brandy Allen, MSW, LICSW

About
Brandy is a dynamic mental health professional with several years of experience working in healthcare and urban community settings. She acquired a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Psychology from Howard University and a Master of Clinical Social Work from Boston University. Through clinical and administrative roles, Brandy has provided care to a vast population of underserved individuals from diverse backgrounds experiencing social, intellectual, emotional, and mental health challenges. In her work she has provided program management and development, short-term and long-term individual therapy for adolescents and adults; group therapy; intake evaluation; crisis intervention; case administration; and consultation with community-based supports and agencies. Her therapeutic approach is a mix of multiple disciplines including cognitive behavioral theory, strength-based, person-centered, and solution-focused. She provides treatment for a wide range of mental health issues but specializes in adolescent and adult care, bipolar, stress, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship difficulties, trauma, and PTSD. Brandy considers it a privilege to serve others and strives to help everyone whom she works with live a more fulfilling life.
