About

Dr. Bellows teaches foundational skills and pediatric, motor control, motor learning, and evidence-based practice courses in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at MCPHS. She is a Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists and continues to practice at Connecticut Children's Medical Center (Hartford, CT). She has presented at the state and national level on topics related to the implementation of best practices in clinical and school-based physical therapy, building capacity for knowledge translation, and the intersection of implementation science, quality improvement, and professional development. Dr. Bellows facilitated the online publication of guidelines for school-based physical therapy practice in Connecticut. She is on the editorial board of the journal Physical and Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics, and Co-Chair of the APTA Pediatrics Knowledge Translation Committee.
