About

Dr. Jami Jain, Pharm.D., RPh, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS with a clinical and research focus on health-system pharmacy operations and medication safety. She maintains an active clinical pharmacy practice in this field at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton, located just south of Boston.

With over 16 years of experience as a health-system pharmacist, Dr. Jain has held diverse roles, including clinical coordinator, PGY-1 residency program director, critical care pharmacist, overnight operations manager, pharmacy intern and resident preceptor, and interim pharmacy director. She also holds multiple active state pharmacist licenses.

Dr. Jain is inspired by the enthusiasm of the profession’s emerging practitioners and the wisdom of its pioneers. She values interprofessional collaboration across healthcare disciplines, with a particular interest in engaging with microbiology laboratories.
