Dr. Michael Spooner holds a doctorate in Organizational Learning and Leadership from Northeastern University, a Master's in Healthcare Administration, and a BSBA in Marketing from Suffolk University. His research interests include AI applications in healthcare education and evaluating patient education tools for chronic osteoarthritis.
As an experienced educator and healthcare professional, Dr. Spooner has delivered numerous presentations on fostering an assessment culture, patient-centered care, and online teaching tools. He has also served as a site evaluator for the New England Commission on Higher Education (NECHE) and an external reviewer for other health science programs. He has held leadership roles in professional organizations like the New England Baptist Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Council, Rebuilding Together Worcester, and other local boards.
