Matthew Silva, PharmD, RPh, BCPS, is a professor of pharmacy practice at MCPHS and an adjunct professor at UMass Chan Medical School. He specializes in pharmacy practice within family medicine and primary care, with a focus on cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Silva’s research interests include biostatistics and meta-analysis. His scholarly contributions appear in publications such as The 5-Minute Clinical Consult, Clinical Therapeutics, and the American Journal of Public Health. A board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist, he is dedicated to integrating research into clinical training and advancing pharmacy education.

He is a licensed pharmacist in Massachusetts and an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
