Kaelen Dunican, PharmD, is the assistant dean of interprofessional education and a professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS, based at the School of Pharmacy–Worcester/Manchester on the Worcester campus.

At MCPHS, Dr. Dunican facilitates pharmacotherapeutic sessions on nonprescription medication and obesity. Her teaching responsibilities also include Introduction to Patient Care and Advanced Self-Care Therapeutics. Additionally, she co-coordinates the Self-Care Therapeutics and Pharmacotherapeutics I course. Dr. Dunican precepts advanced community pharmacy students at a local community pharmacy, bridging classroom knowledge with real-world experience.

Her scholarly interests focus on the pharmacologic treatment of obesity and innovative methods for teaching self-care. Dr. Dunican has published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, textbook monographs, and chapters covering topics such as obesity, dry eye, allergic conjunctivitis, osteoarthritis, and pediculosis.
