Prepare for a Pivotal Role in the Lives and Healthcare Decisions of Your Patients

In this accelerated three-year program offered at both our Worcester and Manchester campuses, you will work with professional experts in immersive laboratories and clinical opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes to optimize patient outcomes and advance the profession. The Worcester and Manchester programs follow an identical curriculum, but their unique locations provide distinct opportunities for students to live, learn, and engage in a variety of activities. Upon graduation, you will be ready to begin your career in pharmacy.

Your 34 Month Journey

By building on your previous education, this year-round program allows you to earn your degree in less than three years.

First-Year Experience

  • develop the service-orientated disposition required to engage in patient care
  • study pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical biochemistry, pharmacy law, and other critical aspects of pharmacy
  • learn the intricacies of the U.S. healthcare and public-health systems as well as patient care
  • participate in personal and professional development opportunities
  • apply practice skills in laboratory courses simulating community and institutional settings
  • explore drug literature evaluation, pharmacology, toxicology, and self-care therapeutics

Second-Year Experience

  • study human physiology and pathophysiology, pharmacotherapeutics, and medicinal chemistry
  • continue to participate in personal and professional development
  • apply knowledge and patient-care skills through seminars, labs, and practice experiences
  • gain deep knowledge of pharmacy ethics and applied clinical pharmacokinetics

Third-Year Experience

  • participate in patient-care experiences during multiple advanced pharmacy practice rotations
  • complete a capstone project and prepare for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX)
