About
Kristina Holton brings extensive experience bridging wet lab biology and bioinformatics, with a strong foundation in the biological principles underpinning statistical analyses. She has held roles at prestigious institutions, including the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard Medical School, WuXi NextCODE, Harvard University, and the Stanley Center of the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT.
Her current research at Harvard and the Broad Institute focuses on single-cell genomics and leveraging machine learning and AI to study aging-related and musculoskeletal diseases.
Throughout her career, Kristina has demonstrated a deep commitment to education, serving as a mentor, teaching assistant, and instructor. At MCPHS, she strives to equip learners with robust data science fundamentals, preparing them to excel in their professional journeys.
