About
Dr. McNicol received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from MCPHS University Boston in 2016. He maintains a practice site in ambulatory pain management at Atrius Health in Boston. He has co-coordinated Drug Literature Evaluation in the PharmD program and Pharmacology In the PA program. He is a former director at Tufts University School of Medicine for the course, “Introduction to Clinical Pain Problems.”
Dr. McNicol has been published in several scientific journals, is a field editor for Cochrane’s Pain, Palliative and Supportive Care group, and collaborates with Analgesic, Anesthetic, and Addiction Clinical Trial Translations, Innovations, Opportunities, and Networks (ACTTION), a public-private partnership with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He conducts evidence-based reviews of analgesic interventions and outcomes for pain and related conditions.
