About
Ahmed Mehanna received his BS in Pharmacy from the University of Alexandria Egypt, his MS in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Tanta Egypt, and his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. Ahmed followed that up by earning his postdoctoratal degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond VA. He was Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at MCPHS between 1990-1997 and Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University between 1997-2006. Ahmed has been a Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at MCPHS since 2007. He lives in Sudbury, MA with his wife and two children.
