About
Dr. LaPointe received her Pharm.D. from Northeastern University and completed a residency at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. LaPointe has been active in educating students in an advanced therapeutics course with a focus on general medicine and women's health. She has been actively involved in the Massachusetts Society of Health System Pharmacists (MSHP) and ASHP for over 20 years and has held several leadership positions. Dr. LaPointe is the current President of the Massachusetts Pharmacist Association (MPhA) Foundation and served as a delegate to APhA. She practices in- patient general medicine at Lowell General Hospital where she precepts students. Her teaching and scholarly interests are in women’s health and student mentoring. Dr. LaPointe has published and presented on these topics both regionally and nationally.
