Prepare for Research into New Medications or Position Yourself for Doctoral Study
In this two- to three-year program at our Boston and Worcester campuses, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside professional experts in modern laboratories to gain a firm understanding of the materials and technologies associated with pharmaceutical product development, manufacture, and evaluation. You’ll study dosage forms and the release of drugs from dosage form as well as pharmacokinetics—the process by which a drug is absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and eliminated by the body. You’ll also have the option of enrolling in our non-thesis Master of Pharmaceutics. This four-semester program will provide you with the in-depth knowledge you need in the areas of formulation and drug delivery. Both programs start in the fall.
