We Care About The Community
All over the world, students, alumni, and faculty of MCPHS are making an impact. From volunteering to making life-saving discoveries in healthcare, so many talented people from MCPHS are channeling their passion and training into making a difference in the community.
To us, community service is not an extracurricular activity. It's an essential component not only of our daily lives as human beings, but of our greater goals as an institution too. That's why community service is part of our mission statement.
In dedication to that mission, we offer free services and advocacy for medication safety such as the Pharmacy Outreach Program, the Center for Drug Information and Natural Products, and the Global Drug Information Service. We also offer oral health, eye care, and physical therapy services to the community through clinics and centers on our Boston and Worcester campuses. The purpose of this outreach is twofold: to provide community members of all ages with high-quality, low-cost healthcare and to help our students become excellent healthcare providers through hands-on experience with patients.
