Tuition, Fees, and Other Costs
Cost of Attendance (COA) Considerations
The rates below are for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Knowing the costs associated with an MCPHS education can help students and families from all income levels plan ahead and find appropriate financial support. The Office of Student Financial Services (SFS) is here to help with that planning. Our office calculates an estimated cost of attendance (COA) for each student that includes the direct and indirect costs of attending for each academic year.
Direct costs include charges that will appear on the student bill, such as the tuition and fees listed below. This would also include estimated housing costs and (in some cases) food costs for students living on campus.
Indirect costs include estimated costs that do not appear on the student bill, but that students may incur while attending the University. These include food, books, supplies, course materials, equipment, transportation, personal expenses and off-campus housing and are also listed below.
Not included in the standard COA are individual expenses that may be specific to you. For example, the University’s Health Insurance Fee may be added to the direct cost portion of the COA for a student who does not waive the school provided coverage.
Students who believe they have unusual, or unusually high costs related to their education are strongly encouraged to reach out to the Office of Student Financial Services (SFS) to discuss those costs and a potential adjustment to their estimated COA.
The estimated COA will vary depending upon the number of credits a student enrolls in and, in some cases, their academic program. The estimated COA provided below assumes full-time enrollment for Boston, Worcester, and Manchester students and assumes 6 credits of enrollment per semester for Online students.
