Purpose Statement

Promote an inclusive environment that strives to prepare all students, faculty, and staff for success and satisfaction in diverse environments to address health inequities, fostering a healthier and more equitable world.

Goals

  1. Use input from the MCPHS members to build an inclusive community.
  2. Advance learning opportunities that strengthen community-wide understanding of the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the context of MCPHS, a health sciences institution.
  3. Collaborate with offices across the university to ensure equitable processes, policies, and procedures are in place to facilitate full participation and inclusion.
  4. Offer annual Community Mini-Grants to implement programming directly related to the MCPHS DEI strategic goals.
  5. Make DEI metrics part of MCPHS's ongoing strategic planning and implementation processes.
