December 2024 Commencement
The December Commencement will take place on December 17, 2024, at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. The following academic schools will be invited to the event:
- Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene
- School of Medical Imaging and Therapeutics
- School of Nursing
- School of Physician Assistant Studies - Manchester/Worcester

Schedule:
8:00 a.m.: Doors open for all attendees
9:30 a.m.: Commencement ceremony begins
Commencement Registration
- All candidates are required to complete the online registration form, regardless of whether they plan to attend the ceremony or not.
- The registration form must be completed by 4:30 p.m. on October 31, 2024.
- Please ensure that the form is completed accurately, as it does not allow for multiple submissions.

- If you are unable to pick up on the designated dates, you can collect the regalia at the DCU Center on the morning of the Commencement.
- No alternative pick-up times will be arranged.
- Each attendee will receive six (6) tickets during regalia pick-up.

The Student Commencement Speaker is an honor given to a graduating MCPHS student. The chosen student will deliver a 3–5-minute speech to everyone attending the Commencement Ceremony. To apply to be a Commencement speaker, please click the link below. You will need to submit a copy of your Commencement Address and a resume/CV with your application before the deadline.

The chosen student will perform the United States National Anthem at the Commencement Ceremony. Priority will be given to candidates. To apply to be the Student Commencement Singer, please submit a recording and application by clicking the link below before the deadline.

Please make sure to review and edit the following information in Self Service in preparation for your upcoming degree conferral by the University
Chosen Name: Your chosen name will be printed on your official MCPHS diploma. You can review and edit your chosen name in Self Service under "user profile – personal identity – edit/update chosen name". Please also check for correct punctuation, accent marks, capitalization, and hyphens. For more information about your name, please visit the Registrar's web page.
Permant/Preferred Address: Your diploma will be sent to the permanent/preferred address in Self Service that is marked with a green checkmark. You can review and edit your permanent/preferred address under "user profile – address – click the pencil icon". An incorrect permanent/preferred address may cause shipping delays.
