MCPHS Sponsors Back to School Jam

The MCPHS Office of College Relations sponsored the Back to School Jam at Mission Main along with State Rep. Jeffrey Sánchez and the Mission Main Tenant Task Force. The event featured entertainment by a local DJ, food and refreshments, and raffles with prizes including backpacks filled with school supplies and t-shirts. More than 150 residents of the Mission Main development participated in the event, enjoying a full BBQ cooked by MCPHS volunteers including student Joe Guedes and staff Kathy Keough, Kristin Zepp, Jill Griffin and George Humphrey. Student Kinara Yang also helped plan some of the logistics of the event. Participants received information packets including toothbrush, toothpaste, Forsyth Dental Hygiene Clinic information and MassMedLine brochures in both English and Spanish.
