Other Important Dates

Thanksgiving (USA) Break begins at noon. Residence Halls remain open (but may leave belongings locked in their room). However, all students must inform their Resident Assistant (RA) if they are staying or leaving. Students who fail to notify their RA may be charged a fee or asked to leave the residence hall.December 8-12, 2008
Final Exams Week. All Students must move out (you may leave belongings locked in your room) within 24 hours of their last Final Exam, but no later than 6 pm on Friday, December 12, 2008 (whichever comes first). Keep this in mind when purchasing air/train/bus tickets.January 11, 2009
Residence Halls re-open at 10 am. Students may NOT move-in early!March 6-15, 2009
Spring Break begins after classes end on March 6; Residence Halls close at 6 pm for all students (you may leave belongings locked in your room). Halls will re-open at 10 am on Sunday, March 15, 2009. Students may NOT move in early!April 27-May 1, 2009
Final Exams Week. All students must move out within 24 hours of their last Final Exam, but no later than 6 pm on Friday, May 2, 2009 (whichever comes first).*Note: The Director of Residence Life reserves the right to instruct any student to move-out or leave the residence hall at dates/times different than those stated above, due to behavior or other reasons where that action would be appropriate.
