An Interdisciplinary Education that Offers Graduates Unlimited Potential

Location: Boston | Start Term: Fall

In this full-time, four-year program at our Boston campus, you’ll work closely with faculty to complete required prerequisites for medical and other professional schools with an interdisciplinary health studies curriculum. When you graduate, you’ll be prepared to pursue advanced study in a wide range of areas in medicine or pursue graduate studies in fields such as nutrition, speech-language pathology, public health, and health administration.

Your Four-Year Journey

Integrating courses in basic and laboratory sciences with courses in the liberal arts will give you the multifaceted background necessary to advance your career in medicine.

First-Year Experience

  • study biology and the principles of chemistry and attend associated labs
  • explore expository writing and human psychology and understand their importance in a medical career

Second-Year Experience

  • continue to build an interdisciplinary foundation of knowledge by taking electives in the humanities and behavioral science
  • build your knowledge of the health professions and hone the interpersonal communication skills necessary to be an effective member of a healthcare team
  • study organic chemistry and medical microbiology and participate in associated labs

Third-Year Experience

  • explore healthcare ethics
  • study cellular biochemistry and physics and attend associated labs
  • strengthen your knowledge of the social and behavioral sciences

Fourth-Year Experience

  • complete all required electives
  • participate in a semester-long Premedical Health Studies Capstone seminar
